Anzac Day 2018

I'd like to thank everyone who was involved in our school's Anzac Day Commemorative Service on Wednesday. Firstly, our special guests, Private Casandra Diggins, from the School of Infantry, Private Matthew Linsley, from the School of Infantry and Corporal Travis Ward, who commanded the Catafalque party from the School of Infantry, undertook their roles with pride and dedication. The children were in awe of the soldiers, as they protected the temporary cenotaph, and the service was both moving and informative. Private Diggins reminded us about the importance of ‘mateship', and that by showing kindness and compassion to all we are respecting the memory of the ANZACS.

Ocearna and Lachlan, our school captains, led the service with confidence and both presented speeches that were personal and heartfelt.
