Year 5/6 Mine Excursion

On Wednesday Years 5 & 6 went on an excursion to Glencore Mines to learn how it all works and what machines they use. We looked at one of the trucks which was very big and we learnt lots of amazing facts. We looked all around the mine and learnt where coal is found and how they use explosives to locate and extract coal from the ground.
